Ha Tien is a small town near Xa Xia international border, from Kep about 35km. If your plan is traveling to Kep Province, this is one of the best convenient way to come to Vietnam. This cycling trip will take you explore Mekong River in Vietnam with a lots of highlights such as floating market, fishing village, boat trip through the canals, thousand of fruit farms and some massive rice fields.
This trip will be ended in Ho Chi Minh City (also called Sai Gon) where was used to be “PEARL OF EAST SEA” and there will tailor your best destinations in Vietnam and Indochina countries.

Full itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Ha Tien - Chau Doc.
Upon arrival, team of “Vietnam By Bike” will be greeting at Xa Xia International Border with Cambodia and fitting your bike for cycling at the first impressions in Vietnam to Ha Tien Town. Rest at your leisure and explore with guide at some structions of old chinese since 16 century as Phu Dung pagoda, Mac Cuu Tomb. And then, pedalling along the Giang Thanh River toward to Chau Doc past some large rice paddies, mountains, and Vinh Te canal become the international border line between Vietnam and Cambodia. If time permits, we can enjoy the great sunset on Sam Moutain Summit before continuing to Chau Doc. We’ll have dinner at local restaurant & free exploring by your own. Overnight in Chau Pho hotel.
Day 2: Chau Doc - Can Tho.
We visit some highlights of this border town in early morning. we firstly enjoy on motorized boat to learn fish farmer’s technic on the Chau Giang floating village and Cham Muslim Minority Community. Then, cycle to Cho Moi and Nhon My to Long Xuyen – we aim to bike 35km into the incense and brick-kiln villages. Afternoon lunch, we take the leisure rest in van on the way to Can Tho. Upon arrival the backroad of this city, we speed up to 25km on the narrow paths of rice fields, orchards, villages where you may taste some special fruits. Overnight at Hau Giang hotel. (Depend on your couple ability, you may ride half way before arriving to Can Tho in late afternoon)
Day 3: Can Tho - Vinh Long - Saigon.
Follow your breakfast in early morning, we embark the boat trip to discover the bustling and vibrant floating market of Cai Rang – one of the last authentic floating markets in Indochina. Take more cruise to the zig-zag canals around Can Tho. Afterward, we mount your bike under the lush green, jungle canopy and pagoda of Khmer in one of the most scenic areas in Mekong Delta. Locals will be greeting and serving you a honest lunch before turning to Highway 1A get to Saigon at 17h and say good bye to end our cycling Ha Tien to Ho Chi Minh city.
