TOUR OVERVIEW
This three-day cycling tour takes us to Mai Chau and Tam Coc, two beautiful destinations clos to Hanoi. The first is a picturesque valley and the latter a spectacular waterscape. We will cycle through the light traffic on back roads, to get into closer contact with local people and explore places that few tourists venture to.

Day 01: Hanoi – Mai Chau
Day 02: Mai Chau – Cuc Phuong
Day 03: Cuc Phuong – Tam Coc
Day 04: Tam Coc – Hanoi
DETAILED PROGRAM
Day 01:
Drive to Hoa Binh, where we start our bicycle ride to Mai Chau. This is a fantastic ride with stops at numeroushill tribe villages on the way. The scenery is spectacular, a verdant valley surrounded by karst mountains and tropical forest.
We will pass coffee and tea plantations before arriving in Mai Chau in the late afternoon to spend the night with and ethnic Thai family. Overnight at a beautiful eco-lodge.
Day 02:
After breakfast you will be taken to Man Duc, for a full day cycling from Man Duc to Bo on local roads. Take time to admire the picturesque mountain scenery of Hoa Binh.
Overnight at the guest-house in Cuc Phuong National Park.

Day 03:
After breakfast, we will visit the Cuc Phuong Endangered Primate Rescue Center and meet the enthusiastic German who has sacrificed his life to primate conservation in Vietnam. We then cycle along the forest trails across lush jungle to the park gate and continue to Ria. Relax on a boat trip in Tam Coc, transfer to Ninh Binh. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 04:
Depart from Ninh Binh to visit Kenh Ga floating village with its unique scenery and eco-system. Take a boat trip to visit the fishing village. Lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Hanoi.
